MISSION – Heartland Community church is called to fulfill the Great Commission, as a healthy, visible, and growing community of Christ-followers, experiencing and leading others into an authentic, Spirit-filled life.
VISION - We envision a Full Gospel environment that emphasizes loving God and loving others while providing real ministry for real life.
CORE VALUES
1) Prayer - We believe we should seek God, connect with God to find direction for our lives and intercede on behalf of the needs of the church and community.
2) Worship - We believe we should show our love and honor to the Lord in weekly worship services and to submit to the guidance of the Holy Spirit in every aspect of our lives.
3) Community - We believe we should connect with other believers to provide and receive and encouragement, love and support.
4) Outreach - We believe we should go beyond the doors of Heartland wit the message of salvation, hop and love; locally, across the nation and around the world.
5) Discipleship – We believe in the process of reaching, teaching and growing individuals of all ages in their walk with Christ by educating them in the truths of God’s word and how to apply it spiritually and practically in their lives.
6) Service - We believe we should allow the compassion of God to extend through us tinot the church and community with "hands on" applicaiton using our God - given gifts.
7) Leadership - We believe in the process of identifying and developing every person to serve as leaders in ministry in their area of gifting.
What Is Sunday Like?
We work to make every Sunday an "unforgettable experience." From the greeting at the entrance to the welcoming staff in the kids and students areas and to the cappuccino bar in the main lobby, we want you to feel welcome. Then as the dynamic worship environment kicks off you will experience the celebration of God perhaps like never before. Through personal stories, multimedia, popular and sacred music, drama and many other art forms, we desire to communicate the timeless truths of Gods love each and every week.
